Can I decorate the dome tent?
Please do! The dome tent has steep walls and is designed with hanging points for lighting, decorations, and anything that will help create the look you’re going for.
What can I do if it rains during my wedding?
We will work together to put a plan in place, whether that be braving it out and using our individual umbrellas, or using the tents as the ceremony spot, we are here to make sure your day runs smoothly regardless of the weather
Are there nearby accommodations?
River’s Edge is just a stone’s throw from the Devon campground. We also have a relationship with the Fairfield by Marriott Hotel. Ask us how we can arrange a free shuttle!
Is there a space on-site where the bridal party can get ready?
The bridal party can get ready in our comfortable and spacious Bridal Suite in the main house on the property
Do we get to have a rehearsal?
Yes, you will have a 1 hour time slot provided the night before your wedding or at a pre arranged time for a walk through with your celebrant/officiant and wedding party.
Can we have a rehearsal dinner at the space?
Unfortunately not as we rent the venue for 1 day at a time.
What is provided for the ceremony?
We provide arches, microphone. Speakers, benches, signing table and chairs.
What is provided for the reception?
Tables, chairs, audio equipment, stage , head table, lighting, dance floor, dance floor lighting, lowering system for decor, patio furniture, patio heaters, fans, heaters
What is everything we need to bring for the wedding?
The couple is responsible for whatever goes on top of the table. Linens, cutlery, glassware, etc.
When can bride access the bridal suite?
8:00am (or before if pre arranged) until 9:00pm
Are there showers in groom suite?
No showers in the Groom’s Suite.
What is the easiest way for guests to get to and from the wedding?
Uber, Ride Sharing, and Taxis are the easiest way to get to and from!
What time of year can I hold my event?
River’s Edge is open for event bookings in spring, summer, and fall.
Can you recommend other vendors for my event?
We have a list of partner companies that provide a range of event services, including catering, bartending, and music.
Can I tour the grounds?
We would love you to!! Come and see us before the snow falls! Please contact us to set up a time to meet with us and see the venue.
What time can we access the property / what time is shut down?
You can access the property starting at 8:00am, shut down is at 1:00am.
Do we need insurance?
Yes, you will need to buy liability insurance.
Do we need a liquor license?
Yes, you will need to get one from AGLC.
What are the policies for event set up / decor?
Candles are allowed at our venue! Aside from that, we do not allow fireworks, no nailing decor to anything and set up and take down will have allotted times. We work with our couples to ensure a seamless set up, and we will do most of the take down.
What if guests cause damage?
We take a damage deposit of $1,000.
What is the Cancellation Policy?
The deposit is non refundable. Payment at 180 days out, 50% refundable to 90 days out and then non refundable.
Does the venue have transport or is that a separate vendor?
Transport to and from hotel can be arranged with partner hotels.
Is there a typical wedding day schedule that works well?
No! Do it the way you want! Jeremy is always open to hear your plans and give suggestions if you want them!
